Description
The Yankee Capts Series is Witch Doctor’s ultimate blue water big fish rod, designed as the top-performing boat rod for vertical bait fishing. Whether you’re bottom fishing for Snapper or Grouper in the Dry Tortugas or deep dropping heavy weights in Pulley Ridge, this series is built to handle it all.
Constructed with proprietary Witch Doctor-designed Rainshadow dual-material blanks, the Yankee Capts Series features a 30-ton graphite butt section for a lightweight, all-day fishing experience, while the glass tip section delivers maximum sensitivity to detect the lightest bites and lock in the trophies from any depth.
These rods feature an EVA and Hypalon grip combination for comfort and durability during extended battles with large fish, and ALPS Centra Lock aluminum reel seats—ideal for conventional manual reels and small electric reels up to 1200 size.
Available in green or black finishes depending on size, including a 9’0″ option (for local pickup only), the Yankee Capts Series is perfectly suited for all offshore charter fishing in the Gulf, Atlantic, and Pacific.
