For centuries, sailors told stories of a creature lurking in the darkness below. A monster capable of dragging giants into the abyss and disappearing without a trace. Most called it a myth. Those who fish the deep know better. Because sometimes the monsters are real.
The Witch Doctor Kraken Series was built for anglers who chase the unknown beneath the surface. Designed specifically for deep dropping and heavy bottom fishing, the Kraken combines a powerful graphite-glass blended blank with a responsive tip capable of detecting subtle bites hundreds of feet below while maintaining the backbone needed to turn trophy fish away from structure.
The rod’s 7’0″ upper section is spiral-wrapped with ALPS XN Black SS Guides for smooth and reliable line management. When fully assembled, the rod measures 8’0″, giving it added length and leverage when fighting large fish. Suited for 16oz all the way up to 6lbs.
Whether you’re targeting grouper, snapper, tilefish, amberjack, or other deepwater predators, the Kraken is engineered to handle heavy sinkers, powerful currents, and the relentless battles that happen far below the boat. Every component was selected to withstand the punishment of deepwater fishing while delivering the sensitivity and lifting power demanded by serious offshore anglers.
When the water turns dark and the bottom disappears from sight, you’re no longer fishing for what’s visible. You’re hunting legends. The Kraken Series was created for anglers who refuse to wonder what might be lurking below.

I like to give up to kyle. I had been looking for a deep drop rod and wasnt 100 percent what I wanted. He very knowledgeable and had all my questions answered ASAP. Rod absolutely light handle a 5 pound weight like there wasnt anything on it. But tip action stil was perfectly soft to feel those 1000 feet settle bites. Back bone absolutely amazing dragging fish up. Color of rod and materials used top quality. Even there shipping amazingly fast and they will make sure rod protected incase shipping company gets a little wild. Highly recommend this rod by once cry once. Everyone last charter was all interested ready to look for a future rod the gets away from platform of boat and combat tangles. Thank all of yall.
